WorkSteady Works and the Ticket To Work Program

Ticket to Work is a free and voluntary program offered by Social Security that can help beneficiaries ages 18 to 64 receiving Social Security disability benefits and have an interest in returning to work or working for the first time.

Returning to work, or working for the first time, will change your life.  It will provide the opportunity to earn more money, gain greater financial independence, meet new people and learn new skills.  But many people feel they are unprepared and don't know where to start or what to do.  The good news is you have the help you need to make the dramatic change in your future.

And it is called the Social Security's Ticket to Work Program

Another piece of good news is that as long as you are making good progress toward your employment goal, Social Security will not review your case to see if you still have a disability. Not just that, but, you may continue to access your cash and Medicare and/or Medicaid health care benefits as you transition to full time work.  And, you may be able to return to benefits if you are no longer able to work due to your disability.

If you are receiving Supplemental Security Income (SSI) or Social Security  Disability (SSDI), the service we offer is all about you and how the Ticket to Work and Self Sufficiency Program can be utilized to elevate your personal and career life to a whole new level.

Do you have an employment goal, need assistance, and support in obtaining employment?  Want to know how to enjoy the benefits of working, receive benefits, and become empowered by self-sufficiency.  You may keep your Medicaid/Medicare while you work, in addition:

• You have access to individualized support services that includes an Individualized Work Plan (IWP).
• This plan is generated as a result of a thorough consultation and an evaluation to reach your goal of employment and career development.
• You can select part-time, full-time or work from home alternatives to help you reach you goal of financial independence.
• You can try work with confidence, knowing your benefits continue during your transition period.

It's All About You

You are a ‘Ticket User’ if you use privileges available to you under the Ticket to Work Program.  As your Employment Network, our performance is rewarded only after we have been successful in you achieving employment.  We get great satisfaction out of the successes we have had.  We know that if you are not successful, we cannot be successful.
